Technical info:
Hoji 187 is similar to the model we tested in 2013, but it has become a little heavier and has more sidecut. The tip is also a little lower and acute in the forward direction. The ski has generally got a long radius, although it has a little more sidecut than the original version. The tail is relatively stiff, while the rest of the ski is softer. Consistent rocker.

On snow:
A favourite of many test riders. What makes this ski so likeable is first and foremost that it´s easy to shift from long carved turns to shorter skidding ones. You can be tearing down the mountain side and then in the next moment skid sideways through powder. So here we have an on- and off-piste ski in one. The rocker is perhaps not ideal in wet powder, but this is no big issue. A modern classic.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
