Technical info:
Kye Petersen´s biggest model has an average flex curve and a giant slalom radius. It has long rocker in both ends and a pronounced camber at the waist. Symmetrical taper and short setback gives little width difference between the front and back. The combination of high specific weight and a wide waist makes it the heaviest ski in this year’s test.

On snow:
KYE 120 is very stable when skiing straight forward and in landings, and it is easy to skid with—you are positioned quite far in front on these skis. When you´re jumping from a small cliff onto hard snow, the landing doesn’t have to be perfect with this ski. It fails to perform in medium big turns at moderate speed. We had problems tying the arcs neatly together. Perhaps it´s the camber that causes this. However, they are easier to maneuverer at high speed. Good floatation, but not among the best in this category.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
