Technical info:
Touring specialist Åsnes and Swedish partner Åre Skidfabrik continue producing ski touring models. Bratt Pro is the widest ski in the test and it has a long sidecut radius, soft front ski and a long rocker profile in the front. The light wood core is reinforced with fibreglass and this gives a construction with a lot of surface area per gram.

On snow:
Here we have a really wide rocker ski with a very acceptable weight. This makes it a tempting option for the first ski touring trip after a snowfall. This is the biggest ski in the test and in good snow conditions you can enjoy floating like boat. On other surfaces we are not as convinced, as we miss response and playfulness. But Åsnes Bratt Pro is an OK ski touring option for powder days.
