Technical info:
Norwegian Åsnes has a brand new ski touring series, and Eggi is promoted as an allrounder for the whole mountain. The rocker is low in front and at the back, and there is some camber at the waist. Medium taper. The weight is low, without having the largest surface area per gram. Åsnes has soft flex, especially in the front.

On snow:
Eggi is large enough to float well, and it works fine in powder as well as on the groomed slopes. Compared with its competitors, it can seem a little tame, which is probably because of the relatively soft flex. It performs best in powder, where the rocker geometry gives good flotation. The weight is very acceptable, and powderhounds who are looking for a light ski may well consider the Åsnes Eggi.
