Technical info:
Armada make skis with really short turning radiuses, but this model is more standard. A tremendous setback (20 centimeters) is needed to compensate a taper that is twice as big in front as behind. The flex curve is evenly distributed around average stiffness. Armada have patented themselves into a corner, which in this context means that the rocker is virtually the same length as the taper. The transition from concave (sidecut) to convex (taper) shape is evident. The skis have normal camber and are of average weight, and they have a semicap construction with sidewall below the waist.

On snow:
A quick and playful all-round ski with a large rocker tip. The tail is considerably smaller. The tip seems over-dimensioned compared to the rest of the ski. This leads to worsened grip and less stability at speed on groomed slopes. High-speed stability outside the trails could also be better. Your feet are in front of the sidecut, and the skis can override somewhat. This is an option for those who want a playful, all-purpose ski that is easy to maneuver and not too wide. This ski is not for dedicated freestyle skiers or freeriders, but it is a good all-rounder that doesn’t demand too much of you.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
