Technical info:
The Daemon design might have been fresh ten years ago: This aluminum sandwich has very long rocker and negative camber at the waist, combined with the longest sidecut radius in the test (a little more sidecut towards the tips). Stiff back ski and average stiffness in front. Low tip.

On snow:
Daemon is the complete opposite of Captis. Captis has camber and a short sidecut, while Daemon has negative camber and a long gliding surface. The camber reminds us of Völkl Gotama from ten years ago. It is definitely best suited for speeding down groomed trails. However, it is a little stiff and uncooperative and the low tip tends to sink in powder. It is also difficult to skid with the back ski. Best suited for those who like tying arcs together down the piste.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
