Technical info:
The sidecut on Black Crow´s Daemon Birdie goes all the way to the tip, instead of the narrowing shape that is typical for this brand. Daemon has negative camber/rocker in the entire length. This gives a long sidecut, but a short gliding surface. It has the longest sidecut radius in the category. The sandwich construction is reinforced with aluminum.

On snow:
The test team was surprised by Daemon Birdie, but not in the positive sense. The consistent rocker means that it doesn´t quite connect with the snow, and it feels shaky on hard surfaces. It is not among the easiest to turn on soft snow neither. Daemon Birdie performs best when you are precise on the edge down soft, groomed slopes.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
