Technical info:
The new Nocta is a light fibreglass sandwich. Along with APO´s model, this is the softest ski in the test. Despite the size, a very light construction keeps it below two kilos. It is in other words considerably lighter than the old Nocta. The setback is a little longer than for APO, which makes it a more of a piste ski.

On snow:
The new light Nocta is relatively easy to maneuver in the turns. But it doesn´t absorb unevenness as one might have wished for—because of the low weight, perhaps? Nocta has kept the pronounced upward tilted tip, but we feel that it flutters quite a lot. This model is definitely lighter, but that comes at a price. On the positive side it is quite easy to maneuver, and it floats very well.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
