Technical info:
Black Crows has been using the Orb name for some time now. This version is new this year and comes with two aluminum layers. Orb has a lot of sidecut and both tip and tail are stiff. Pronounced rocker and taper in the front, and considerably less rocker in the back.

On snow:
Orb is easy to control on all types of snow. The tip is very forgiving, and Orb performs well in chopped powder. However, it is a little dull down the piste. The tip is hesitant when entering the turn, and the ski is not among the most responsive. One rider experienced that tapered part of the tip touched the surface in the turns. Orb is best suited for free riders who are looking to add a narrow ski to their collection.
