Technical info:
Freebird from Orb has undergone a real weight reduction. It's still a classic sandwich construction with typical Black Crow geometry: No rocker, short sidecut and narrow towards the tips. It has an average turning radius and relatively narrow waist. Orb Freebird is a bit softer than the average and has a traditional camber.

On snow:
It is still no super lightweighter, but in return it feels solid and precise. It turns well and, considering the width, the special front ski gives good float. The lightness and the softer flex probably affect the special features on hard snow, but this is a ski for steep terrain with challenging snow. All in all, a versatile touring ski in a functional chartreuse yellow.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
