Technical info:
DPS Wailer 112 comes in several different versions. The wood core is reinforced with carbon fibre and it is one of the lightest models in the test. It´s still half a kilo heavier than the model you will find in the touring category. A lot of sidecut combined with a solid setback gives a big width difference between the front and back ski. There is a longer taper than rocker in the tip. A stiff tail with high rocker.

On snow:
This is a quick ski - for good and bad. Some experienced it as very responsive, while others felt that the turns were too short when they applied force. It is certainly very easy to maneuverer. The same goes for powder, where it floats well. So if you like playfulness at controlled speed, this is a good choice.
