This is a wide powder ski with a pronounced rocker from DPS. They have been specialising in making light carbon reinforced constructions for some time now, and this special version of the Wailer 112 is astonishingly light. It has one of the biggest surface areas in the test and by far the lowest weight. A very short turning radius and a soft flex are other characteristics worth mentioning.

On snow:
It is a delight to lay the first tracks up through the woods with the DPS 112 Tour. We have never tried such a light wide ski before. They float very well in powder and are generally easy to turn, quick and harmonic. But they lack stability at speed and edge grip on hard snow. Both the light weight construction and the large sidecut makes this more of a playful powder ski than a typical big-mountain monster.
