Technical info:
Dynafit have started to make skis without bothering too much about weight. Chugach is a notch narrower than Hokkaido, but the construction is almost as heavy. The carbon fibre in the tip doesn´t help. The stiff flex curve is similar to its big brother, but the turning radius is considerably shorter.

On snow:
Chugach feels like a good and playful allround freeride ski. It is quick and responds well. The sidecut provides for a more playful feeling than Hokkaido. It floats well in powder. If it wasn´t for the weight, it would have been a good contender for the top spot, but all the extra grams prevents it from getting close to the podium. But if Dynafit want to prove that they can make good freeride skis, they have achieved it.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
