Technical info:
Dynastar Alti 80 is the heaviest construction in the test, despite the specific weight not being particularly high. The flex is quite evenly distributed, and is stiffest in the back. No taper and short rocker in the front. French Dynastar has stopped making the ski touring series Cham. Alti 80 is one of their smallest skis this year, but the wider Mythic, which we tested earlier this autumn, is actually lighter.

On snow:
The test team recognise the solid feel of Dynastar´s Alti 80. It is extremely stable at speed, which is impressive considering the small size. The weight isn’t extreme, but it certainly is the heaviest ski in this category. The even shape and flex, and a 20 metre sidecut radius, is typical for speed inviting skis of this kind. This is the model for ski tourers who like to put themselves to the test both going up and down.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
