Technical info:
Legend 106 is new this year. It has inherited quite a lot from its predecessor, Cham 107, from the same brand, but the geometry is different. There is less taper in the stiffer front ski and a little more rocker in the tail. But it still has the stiff tail and a pronounced sidecut.

On snow:
We liked last year´s Pro Rider from Dynastar, so we had high expectations to Legend 106. But the test team is divided. Some felt that it failed to make contact with the snow. It is easy to turn in the piste, but it can be unstable at speed going straight forward and in turns on tracked snow. It isn´t the best ski to skid with either. Maybe this has something to do with the abrupt sidecut in the back ski and the very stiff tail?

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
