Technical info:
The asymmetrical flex profile stands out, with a stiff tail that gradually becomes softer towards the front. A long setback and a lot of sidecut gives a big width difference between tip and tail. Rocker in the front and back ski. The design is not among the lightest in the test.

On snow:
Elan Himalaya is fun and easy to maneuver, especially suited for turning. Short turning radius, stiff flex in the back ski that gradually gets softer towards the front and a lot of setback make this ski easy to turn with. It also works well for skidding, but we weren´t impressed by the stability at speed. Elan´s ski touring model is a good choice for many, especially for riders who enjoy the turns.
