Technical info:
Puzzle has a lot of sidecut and no rocker nor taper, but with low camber. The ski is soft, especially towards the back. A relatively heavy fibreglass construction. This ski has what Elan (and the Norwegian snowboard brand Bataleon) calls Triple Base Technology (TBT), which means that the base is divided into three areas. It´s almost as if the ski has rocker along the edge, but not in the middle.

On snow:
Puzzle has been updated, and it is shorter than the version we tested last time. The ski was first delivered with a mounting behind the middle. When we moved it further to the front it became a lot more stable. The tip still has a tendency to lose grip on hard snow. This is also the ski that divides the test team the most. Nikolai and Rafael (also the tallest riders in the test) do not like it, while Vebjørn and Andreas are more positive. It´s possible that we would have liked it better in a longer length.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
