Technical info:
Extreme is a brand that designs and manufactures skis in Åre, Sweden. Opinion is a classic that comes in several widths and constructions. The big mountain legend Sverre Liliequist has supposedly played a part in the design process. This is a fairly light model, with a long and pronounced rocker in the front and back ski. The setback is short, the narrowest point is far in front, and there is quite a lot of camber. The flex varies a little, but it is relatively soft throughout. It is stiffest behind the binding, like most skis in this category.

On snow:
The lightest test rider felt that Opinion performed well in big turns at high speed, while the heavier riders commented that the pronounced rocker made the ski flutter. At the same time it is playful, easy to turn and nice to skid around with. The weight is impressive, but this also affects the maneuverability on varying surfaces at high speed. The wide back ski and a lot of rocker means that the skins have less contact with the snow on the ascent. Extrem Opinion is the ski touring model for those who are looking for playfulness and maneuverability, especially if you are among the lighter riders.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
