Technical info:
The Faction Silas has a symmetrical sandwich construction with an equally wide front and back ski. It has a lot of sidecut and a soft flex, especially in the tail. The tip is of average stiffness. There is some rocker in the front and back. The camber profile is the opposite of the Candide 1.0. It´s high in the waist and flatter in the front and back. The construction is light, so you'll save a few hundred grams per ski compared to many other models.

On snow:
The test team thinks it feels twitchy and unstable. It doesn’t absorb shocks that well, and it is restless on hard surfaces. You might use it to ski jibs and rails, but sturdy guys should not use it for the big jumps. It may be more appropriate for younger and lighter riders, who can enjoy the playfulness.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
