Technical info:
The Ranger series from Fischer consists of freeriding skis, which can be deduced from their specific weights. The front ski has a long rocker and a stiff flex. It is also stiff in the back, while the waist is quite soft. The sidecut radius profile is the opposite of Translap, with a short radius in the waist and longer radius in front and behind.

On snow:
Ranger 90 feels like a narrow powder ski. It doesn´t respond well on hard surfaces, but on soft snow it floats and absorbs better compared to the other narrow skis. The weight, stiffness and the long rocker in the front probably contribute to the feeling of control as you charge through tracked snow. If you can accept the extra grams, it is a good choice for long trips with descents on varied snow.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
