Technical info:
This year’s Ranger 98 TI has a lot of sidecut in the waist and less in the back. Fischer has combined a somewhat asymmetrical shape with a soft front ski and a stiff tail. A lot of rocker, especially in the front. This is a relatively heavy construction.

On snow:
Fischer´s Ranger series has been on the market for some years now, and this is the second narrowest TI model among the lightweight ski touring models. Despite the rather high specific weight, it was a little unstable and the tip fluttered. The varying turning radius might explain this. At the same time, Fischer Ranger 98 Ti is easy to skid with and floats well. It suits ski touring enthusiasts who don´t mind lower speeds.
