Technical info:
This new model from Hagan is narrower and considerably lighter than Boost. An even sidecut with a 17 metre sidecut radius in the entire length stands out in this company. Just like Boost, it has some rocker in the front but no rocker in the back ski. The flex is soft, especially in the front ski, and it has a more even shape and smoother transitions between rocker and taper than what we are used to from Hagan.

On snow:
Core 88 feels more like a classic touring ski compared to Boost. This lightweighter is quick and responsive, but first and foremost on good snow at low speed. It feels a little weak at high speed in rougher conditions, and doesn´t feel as safe as other heavier and bigger models. Core 88 is a ski for those who prefer maneuverable skis and moderate speed. Ideal for long trips in gentle terrain.
