Technical info:
Wai Boost is the second widest model in Hagan´s Wai series. There is more sidecut in the waist than towards the ends. A stiff tail and soft front ski, long setback and a lot of rocker in the front, combined with no rocker in the back, gives a very asymmetrical geometry. Fairly low specific weight.

On snow:
Fri Flyt has tested several models in the Wai series this year. This edition of Wai Boost is described as a little nervous and unstable, but with good floatation. This is probably related to the combination of low weight and a lot of setback, a lot of sidecut in the waist and a big tip. At the same time it floats well, which the narrow back ski contributes too, and it is fun to skid with. If you know how to sniff out good snow, then you will have a lot of fun with Wai Boost.
