Fri Flyt overall rating of Kästle TX98:

8 / 10

Hard snow:
8 / 10
Soft snow:
8 / 10
Weight:
9 / 10
Technical info:
A light construction with medium sidecut. It has quite a lot of camber and a long, low rocker in the front ski. The front ski is a little softer than average. Kästle´s new free riding ski is a little lighter than previous versions of the same model. However, the shape and flex is much the same.

On snow:
Kästle TX 98 gives us that «Kästle feeling». This is a compliment and it involves stability at speed and trustworthy maneuverability. The ski is versatile and works well at low and high speed and in small and big turns. However, it is not best at anything. An even and somewhat soft flex curve, combined with an even turning radius, gives versatility. It is an inspiring ski that will suite a lot of people.
