Technical info:
Liberty´s Origin series comes in different widths. Origin 96 is a fibre glass sandwich with a lot of rocker and an average amount of sidecut. It is a ski with medium stiff flex and a soft tip. The sidecut is long, there is little taper. The tail has a solid bend. Short setback.

On snow:
Liberty Origin 96 is one of the positive surprises this year. It is playful and one of the best powder skis in the test. It is not among the most responsive on groomed slopes, which is probably due to a lot of rocker. In return, it turns and skids elegantly in powder. But what is perhaps more important: it is great fun. This is a good choice if you have park experience and want to chase powder. The playfulness adds to the total score.
