Technical info:
New Apex from Swiss Movement is a medium heavy ski with a lot of sidecut and camber. The flex is average and even. It is a little softer in the tips than in the rest of the length. Quite a lot of camber, a fairly long sidecut and little rocker. More rocker in the back than in the front. Quite lot of sidecut goes well with the other features of this ski.

On snow:
Apex is described as a solid and safe ski that is made for speed and big turns. It is not as easy to maneuver in narrow spaces. The lack of rocker combined with a long sidecut mean that it performs well at high speed, but this also means that it lacks some playfulness, despite the large amount of sidecut. Movement Apex is not among the most playful models in this test, but it is still a very good and versatile ski, especially for ambitious ski touring enthusiasts that likes speed.
