Technical info:
The sidecut on Rossignol E88 goes all the way to tip and tail and appears more like an exaggerated racing ski than a narrow freeride ski. It is extremely stiff, especially in the back ski. The most striking feature is that a lot of camber in the back (18mR) coincides with a lot of sidecut (15mR) and a stiff flex in the tail. Carbon, not metal, has been applied to add stiffness.

On snow:
E88 feels very stiff, but at the same time it is fairly easy to maneuver on flat snow. There is a lot of back ski and, even if it´s hard to admit, you know you will be tail-heavy at the end of the turns. The stiffest ski is not necessarily the most meanest machine. Both Völkl and Kästle perform better in the turns.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
