Technical info:
We first tested the 7 series when it was launched some five years ago. Since then it has been frequently updated with minor changes. Sky 7 HD is a fibreglass sandwich with torsion stiffness of carbon fibre. Very soft in both ends and high rocker in the front ski. Sky 7 HD has the lowest specific weight in the test.

On snow:
Sky 7 HD is a great cruiser. A very good choice if you like medium turns on and off the groomed trails. Due to the light weight it can be used with touring bindings. It might be a little too soft for chasing speed in difficult conditions. Apart from this it has no obvious weaknesses. A good choice as your first powder ski, or if you just want to cruise down the slopes.
