Technical info:
Rossignol´s Soul 7 has the shortest carve zone of all the skis in the 7-series. The Soul has the test's shortest turning radius and it reminds us of the Head Collective. Soul 7 is slightly stiffer and it has less curvature in the back. Longer taper makes the tips 1 cm narrower. It´s one of the lightest skis in the test.

On snow:
The little brother in the S7 series is quick and easy to maneuverer. It floats well in powder, despite having the smallest surface area in the test. On the piste it´s quick from edge to edge, but still stable. In tracked snow they don’t follow the furrows of those who have been there previously. All in all, this ski suits those who are new to skiing powder, the ones who get up early in the morning, and the ones who prefer controlled speed to chasing chopped powder.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
