Technical info:
The special tip and the design haven´t changed since the old 7 series, but Rossignol has added carbon strings to this freeride model. This version has sidecut towards the tip, high camber and the taper area is as long as the rocker. Soul 7 W is a wide ski in this category, and the construction is a little heavier than the average in this test.

On snow:
A surprisingly stable allround ski from Rossignol. It is not among the lightest on the foot, but in return it is predictable at speed and it responds well down the groomed slopes. It didn´t impress us in powder, which might have to do with the camber below the foot. So this is not an out-and-out powder ski. Rossignol Soul 7 W is a very good allround ski for experienced riders.
