Technical info:
Rossignol has been refining its 7 series up through the years. Soul 7 is a wide ski with a relatively light sandwich construction that has been reinforced with carbon fibre. It is stiff in the back and softer in the front. The sidecut is very abrupt towards the tip. Like many Rossignol skis, the tip is very high, almost 10 cm.

On snow:
Our test winner has many good qualities. It is stable, the edge grip is good in the piste and it floats well. The newbies will find it easy to maneuver, at the same time as the more advanced skiers will appreciate the playfulness and responsiveness. The only minus is the high rocker tip that has a tendency to flap. We asked one of the test riders where on the mountain this ski performs the best: “Everywhere!”
