Technical info:
Rossignol´s 7-skis have more or less similar geometry, which shows that Rossignol is comfortable with the base form. These skis have a lot of sidecut toward the tips, and a longer radius at the waist. They have generous taper and rocker at both ends and a high camber in the waist. Relatively low specific weight. Stiff front ski.

On snow:
The Star 7 is a big mountain ski made in the traditional Rossignol way, with a pronounced tip and a lot of sidecut. The overall impression is mixed. Some rank them right at the top, and characterize them as playful, easy to turn and stable at all speeds. Others claim they are difficult to turn and that they do not absorb particularly well. The reason is probably the special construction, which suits some but takes longer for others to get used to.
