Technical info:
SGN has replaced all the fibreglass with carbon on the Hurrungane in order to bring down the weight. The ski has been developed together with experienced Norwegian ski guides. With a long setback and short sidecut, it becomes quite wide in the front. It has a long rocker in the front ski, shorter in the back. The flex is very stiff in the back while the front and especially the tip is soft.

On snow:
The Hurrungane is a distinctive, long and narrow ski touring model. It works best for carving, not so good for skidding. We think it has to do with the shape, the front ski is long. It is not particularly good on groomed slopes. But it floats well in soft snow, and is easy to turn with once you get going. It can be a good option for spring trips, for example in Hurrungane (Norway).

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
