Technical info:
SGN is inspired by Sogndal on the Norwegian west coast and the ski touring enthusiasts in the area. The brand manufactures its skis in Sweden. Hurrungane 101 has a lot of rocker in the front ski and a long sidecut radius in the waist, which is shorter towards the ends. Stiff tail, soft front ski, fairly long setback and medium specific weight.

On snow:
SGN´s widest and heaviest ski touring model (the carbon version is lighter and more expensive) feels like a good downscaled freeride ski. It is a playful allrounder that is easy to maneuver , thanks to a soft front ski and an abrupt rocker. The stability at speed is not among the best in this category. However, this ski that has been designed in Norway suits freeriders that are looking for a light and playful alternative for ski touring.
