Technical info:
Salomon´s new 95 model in the well-known MTM Explore series is one of the longest skis in the test. It has a long and average sidecut, combined with long and low rocker in the front and back ski. The tail is a little stiff, while the front ski is softer. Moderate setback, which seems sensible considering the length. We tested this ski with the lightest binding in the test. The weight is average in this company.

On snow:
Moderate setback and soft flex in the front makes MTN 95 a good powder ski with good flotation. It is easy to maneuver and turn with in soft snow. At high speed on hard snow it is more difficult to control. Salomon MTN 95 is the allrounder for the ski touring enthusiast, especially if you are chasing all kinds of soft snow.
