Technical info:
It seems like Salomon wants to go back to its roots with the NFX LAB, with camber all the way, no rocker and a marked setback. The heavy construction suggests that Salomon wanted to create a stable ski for high speed. The flex is stiff in the front, medium stiff in the waist and soft in the back ski. A lot of sidecut at both ends.

On snow:
The NFX isn’t quite playful enough for the test team. The stiff front ski and a lot of sidecut makes it aggressive when entering the turns. A solid and heavy ski that handles shocks with stoic calm. Yet another uncompromising trick machine for the biggest jumps.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
