Rocker 2 is a typical cap construction. Salomon has added camber during the last few years, and the back ski on the Rocker 2 is extreme in this regard. (12mR/9 mm). The skis are relatively soft and there is an abrupt transition from rocker to camber. In contrast to the tendency from many ski manufacturers in recent years, Salomon makes skis with more sidecut in the front ski than in the back. Here there is a significant difference, from 28 to 15mR.

On snow:
It is stable at high speed. The rocker distribution is harmonious. Indeed, this appears as highly versatile powder ski. It could have been easier to maneuver in small areas, as well as more resilient and easier to turn. We mounted the bindings according to the instructions, but it can be set further back. Allround skiers will appreciate a pair of the Rocker 2.
