Technical info:
This is a classic aluminum sandwich, just as we have come to expect from Swiss Stöckli. It is also the heaviest construction in the category. This was the only ski with tech bindings in the test, which meant that the total weight was fairly low. Even flex, softer tip. Stormrider 105 has a moderate sidecut and a longer sidecut radius in the waist.

On snow:
Stormrider 105 was the only ski that came with a tech binding. All riders had boots that meant they did not have change bindings. If you are looking for a freeride ski with good edge grip, you need look no further! It is not particularly playful, and it is a bit of a struggle to make it turn. But it is great at high speed, especially on hard surfaces. It is also fairly easy to turn in powder. Best suited for experienced skiers who seek speed and want a solid platform off-piste.

This sequence of numbers indicates stiffness. Each number corresponds to a part of the ski, from tail to tip. 5 equals the average
for this part and length of the ski. Lower values indicate softer skis, higher values stiffer.
