Technical info:
Super Maximo 80 is stiff in the back and soft in the front. Most sidecut in the back and the setback is long. It has a long bended tip, but no rocker. This is typical for the ski touring specialist Skitrab. Low specific weight is also a trademark from this Italian brand.

On snow:
Skitrab´s widest model is 1.3 cm wider than what is indicated by the name. But with a solid sidecut in the front and short rocker, it feels more like a ski made for carved turns on hard snow than a powder ski. It lies steady on the snow and feels good when the surface is even and soft. It is more difficult to control in powder and in more varied, uneven conditions. And they don’t invite skidding. Super Maximo is for ski touring enthusiasts who are looking for good snow in moderate terrain, and who prefer to take it easy on longer trips.
