Technical info:
Völkl´s BMT series is an old acquaintance. This year´s series comes in several different widths. The BMT 90 is new this winter, and it has many of the characteristics we know from this brand: Semicap with carbon fibre, long and low rocker in both ends and a long sidecut. Even sidecut radius, soft and even flex. The tips are a notch stiffer.

On snow:
All the test riders were immediately impressed by Völkl´s new BMT model. The stability at speed is superb, but is easy to maneuver and performs well no matter the length of the turn. This is partly due to the even sidecut radius and flex, but the main reason is the perfect balance between rocker and sidecut. It is not very good for skidding, but apart from this Völkl BMT is a superb ski that suits most people – provided you are not looking for the lightest model.
