Technical info:
Völkl RTM 86 combines sidecut all the way to the tip with a consistent rocker (reverse camber), just like Völkl´s freeride models. A 75 grams soft rubber module is placed near the tip to reduce vibrations in the ski. The relatively heavy aluminium-reinforced construction is stiff in the front and back. The geometry is generally well balanced.

On snow:
RTM 86 is a beast that requires determination and willingness to turn, preferably more than what the ski demands! It responds extremely well and you can really put it through the turns, even when the day is old and the groomed slope has become bumpy. A ski that is best suited for you who want ten fast descents with precise turns. It might be a little too much if you only want to cruise all day. This is not a playful ski, but a good choice if you have a background as a downhill racer.
